In April 2004, Donald Jennings became the Pastor of Park Avenue Baptist Church (PABC).  He is a native of nearby Trussville, AL.  Pastor Jennings is a high school graduate of Glen Iris Baptist School (Birmingham, AL) and college graduate of Trinity Baptist Bible College (Asheville, NC). 

Pastor Jennings was married in 1997 to the former Laura Whilden also of Trussville, AL.  They have three sons: Jeremiah, Benjamin and Isaac. 

The Lord has blessed our Pastor with the gift of studying the Bible and bringing its message to others in a way that is true yet simple enough to understand and be applicable to others.  He has a passion for Bible prophecy and has studied prophecy extensively over the past 20 years.  Sharing the love of Christ and challenging believers with the promise of Christ’s return is the call of God on his life.  He fulfills that in his pastorate, as well as, in prophecy conferences and his work with Hearts with Hands Disaster Relief.
